On 9 July 2026, Consul General Justice M. T. Mohamed Laffar paid a courtesy call on Consul General Rommel Romato, Consul General of the Philippines in Jeddah, at the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah.
During the meeting, the two Consuls General exchanged views on consular affairs, migrant welfare, and other matters of mutual interest. They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation between their respective Consulates General to further enhance bilateral relations and promote closer engagement with the host country.
