Consul General Justice M.T. Mohamed Laffar paid a courtesy call on Consul General Md. Shakhawat Hossain- Consul General of Bangladesh in Jeddah on 6th July 2026.
The meeting underscored the longstanding and cordial relations between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The two Consuls General exchanged views on matters of mutual interests.
Ms. Mafusa Lafir, Head of Chancery of the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Jeddah, and Mr. Md. Mehebub Zaman, Head of Chancery of the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Jeddah, also attended the meeting.
