Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs of Sri Lanka visits Holy City of Madinah
Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Prof. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi together with the Deputy Minister of National Integration Muneer Mulaffar recently visited the holy city of Madinah as a part of their recent trip to Saudi Arabia for signing the Hajj Agreement.
The Minister also visited the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization. There, he gained insights into the life of the Prophet Muhammad and the development of Islamic civilization in Madinah. Additionally, Prof. Senevi toured the vicinity of Quba Mosque, the first mosque ever built in the history of Islam.
The Director of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, M.S.M. Nawas also accompanied the Minister.
