In the chain of investment promotion one to one meeting of this Consulate, Consul General Mr. Falah Alhabshi met Mr. Mohamed Ashraf, Director of International Business, Ashoka Engineering, India who is based in Jeddah and Dubai. During the meeting, Mr. Ashraf stated that he is seeking opportunities in Sri Lanka to invest in the sectors of cement plants, Sponge Iron Plants, Steel Rerolling Mills, and sugar plants with the minimum value of investment 100 million USD or above.
Further he added that Sri Lanka is utmost priority list of Ashoka Engineering, India as a neighbouring country.
