Deputy Minister Muneer Mulaffer attends official closing ceremony of Hajj 2026
Head of Sri Lanka Hajj delegation Deputy Minister Muneer Mulaffer, along with Chairman of the Sri Lanka Hajj Committee Reyaz Mihular attended the “Khitaamuhu Misk” conference organised by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah held in the evening of 29th May 2026 in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The event hosted by Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, marked the official completion of the Hajj-2026, and the launch of preparations for Hajj -2027 ( H-1448)
Accordingly the Sri Lanka delegation received the preparatory plan laid out by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, with timelines set for completion of Hajj -2027 arrangements.
The Conference emphasized the importance of Hajj Affairs Offices following the timelines set by the Ministry, to ensure smooth operations.
On the sidelines of the Conference, the delegation held interactions with the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdulfattah Bin Sulaiman Masha, Director General of Hajj Affairs Offices Eng. Abdullah Shehri and other officials from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Heads of Hajj Delegations from other countries participating in the Conference .
