In commemoration of Vesak, the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Jeddah organized the ‘Buddha Rashmi’ Vesak Mangalya, a grand celebration of Vesak. This significant event featured Buddha Pooja, a magnificent Vesak Pandol, soulful Bhakti Gee, and a heartwarming Dansala. The Consul General of Sri Lanka and the Consul General of Thailand in Jeddah, along with hundreds of Sri Lankan expatriates in the western region of KSA, participated at the Chancery premises. Their presence was a testament to the importance of the event.
